THE LIFE OF

TOMASO THE WANDERER.

Reprinted from the Original of 1667, with Prefatory Note
by G. Thorn-Drury.

One hundred and twenty-five copies only have been
printed, 4to., with a collotype facsimile of the very
rare portrait of Thomas Killigrew, engraved by Hollar.
Price 6/- Net.

Dryden's great satire will always keep Flecknoe's name alive. He was the author of a considerable number of tracts, all of which rank among the rarities of seventeenth century literature. The piece which we now reprint is entirely unknown to bibliographers, and we have not been able to locate any other exemplar. It is an exceedingly virulent and scandalous attack upon Thomas Killigrew the dramatist.

Works of the late Bertram Dobell.

Handsomely Printed at the Stratford Head Press. Price 2/6 net.

Lover's Moods: A Sonnet-Sequence.

The Sonnets composing the above sequence were written at various times during the last four years of the author's life. They are intended to represent the incidents of a love-passion, not literally or realistically, but from a poetical or idealistic standpoint, and are without doubt the late Bertram Dobell's greatest poetical achievement. Ten of the Sonnets were printed in The Poetry Review in March, 1914, and attracted a good deal of attention. In the same year the Rowfant Club, of Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A., printed the complete sequence in a private edition for circulation among its members.

Square 16mo, One Shilling net.

A Century of Sonnets.

There is a mellowness and quiet dignity, a spiritual sincerity and courage about these sonnets which win the reader's cordial sympathy. We feel ourselves in the presence of one who has truly lived and loved, and sought and suffered, who has tested many things in life and in life's philosophies; and who, though often baffled and perplexed, has never lost faith in himself nor in man, nor doubted the ultimate good."- Yorkshire Daily Observer.

Sm. 4to, pp. 43, One Shilling net. A few copies on handmade paper, Three Shillings net. The Dreamer of the Castle of Indolence,

and other Poems.

This volume, uniform with "The Close of Life," contains the author's less serious pieces, written between 1903 and 1914.
