Blind Poet"Blind Poet", l'ultima raccolta poetica di Lawrence Ferlinghetti, contiene alcuni testi scritti dal 1997 ad oggi in occasione delle sue partecipazioni agli eventi e ai festival organizzati in Italia e soprattutto quelli recentissimi scritti dopo l'attentato dell'11 settembre. Per quasi totalmente inedita, la raccolta è divisa in due sezioni: la prima, " If You've Got a Boat...", raccoglie le poesie più personali e di "presa diretta" sulla realtà italiana e americana, compreso "Migrazioni Surreali", un lungo poema inedito corredato da disegni originali; la seconda invece, "Speaking Out After 9/11", è più "politica" e di impegno civile. |
